As the Woodson County Road & Bridge Department, our goal is to regularly evaluate the conditions of the county roads & bridges and make the necessary modifications to assure a safe and passable travel at all times, while promoting a safe working environment for all department employees. Along with road maintenance, our department documents & maintains the records for the county roads, bridges & vehicles; in addition, we are in charge of mowing county ditches & maintaining the county road signs.

New Entrance/Culvert Installation Policy
On June 2, 2026 the Woodson County Commission passed Resolution 26-09 pertaining to creating a Cost Application for the Installation of Culverts or Entrances. Road & Bridge Department will take applications for entrances. The cost will be paid by the property owner.
